Located within the private residences of the iconic Georgia Hotel in downtown Vancouver, this two-bedroom sub-penthouse apartment was designed as a refined urban retreat for weekend living and entertaining. Andrea Rodman Interiors led the interior renovation and turnkey furnishing of the residence, creating a highly functional and thoughtfully layered space tailored to the clients’ lifestyle.

Positioned steps from Robson Street and adjacent to the Vancouver Art Gallery, the apartment is immersed in the energy of the city while offering panoramic views across downtown Vancouver. The design approach focused on balancing sophistication with livability, creating an interior that feels elevated, welcoming, and deeply connected to its urban setting.

Influenced by Scandinavian and Japanese design principles, the interiors are grounded in simplicity, natural materials, and thoughtful restraint. A layered palette of soft textures, contrasting tones, and refined detailing creates an atmosphere that feels sophisticated yet highly livable within the context of downtown Vancouver living.

The renovation included new flooring, lighting, and custom millwork throughout the apartment to improve functionality, storage, and flow. Existing kitchen cabinetry was refinished in contrasting black tones, introducing depth and a moody, contemporary atmosphere that anchors the open living spaces.

A fully curated turnkey furnishing package was developed for the residence, incorporating sculptural forms, tactile materials, and understated detailing to complement the architecture of the home. The result is a timeless Vancouver residence designed for gathering, relaxation, and connection in the heart of the city.
