Located on the waterfront of Shawnigan Lake near Victoria, this 5,000 sq ft family retreat was designed as a timeless and welcoming lakefront home for gathering, relaxation, and summer living. Andrea Rodman Interiors led the full-service interior design, creating a layered and highly livable residence inspired by traditional coastal architecture and classic Hamptons-style interiors.

Designed to accommodate extended family and guests, the home balances elegance with comfort through a warm and approachable material palette. Expansive living spaces, a private beach, and sleeping accommodations for up to fourteen people support an effortless connection between entertaining, family life, and the surrounding natural landscape.

At the center of the home, the kitchen was designed as a social and functional gathering place, encouraging conversation, connection, and shared meals while framing expansive lake views. Throughout the interiors, traditional detailing, soft neutral tones, and carefully selected furnishings create an atmosphere that feels refined yet relaxed.
